Joining a new office in the current pandemic

Hello, I am Abdullah Al Muktadir. I am one of the fresh faces in this company. This is the second workplace in my career path, before I worked at an IT firm. However, joining here was totally a new experience for me as interview and other all procedure was not like the traditional way rather conducted virtually given the current situation of COVID-19.

My reporting time was around 8 A.M and I was provided with all the official account credentials to join virtually prior two days earlier, which was 13^th June, 2020. Mr. Muhammed Humayun Rony had informed me earlier about the scrum meeting which will be held at 8:45 A.M, where all the team members would be present. In this interactive meeting, I introduced myself and everyone welcomed me with wide arms. This kind gesture made me get rid of my nervousness and hyped me up to work at my new workplace. At the meeting, I was assigned two practice/training tasks under the supervision of Mr. Nazmul Hasan Munshi Robin, which I have successfully completed by 4:30 P.M. I would like to thank my supervisor, as without his help it would be slightly difficult for me to complete my task on time. This first step of a hopefully long journey came to an end at 5:15 P.M when I have officially signed off for the day.

The uttermost surprise I got is from our friendly CEO, Mr. Tahsinul Alam Sarker. At his first impression I thought he might be just a regular worker or even an intern. I have never expected our CEO to be such humble and down to Earth person. To conclude, I am extremely excited to gain new and memorable experience at this new charming workplace which will help me in building up my career with Workspace InforTech Limited as well as grow as a person.
